In 2019 Manchester Community School students, teachers, administrators, board members and community members began discussing the changing needs of education. The focus of this strategic planning process was safety, academic programs and facilities. We are thrilled to share some of the outcomes from this collaborative work.
At Manchester Junior Senior High School, a new cafeteria is being constructed along with a connecting corridor between the junior and senior high buildings. The existing high school cafeteria will be redesigned as an innovation and presentation center to meet the needs of our students now and in the future.
The office at Manchester Elementary School will be relocated to the front of the building providing a secure entrance. As a STEM certified school the existing office will be transformed into an exploration center to challenge our youngest scientists.
